Empowering the future generation of women in sound

Whilst running Red Bull Studios London, I was inspired by my own daughters to find a way to shift the gender imbalance within studios and the wider music industry. After months of research and development I created a series of regular workshops to encourage women sound engineers, producers and DJ’s.

Over 18 months we ran 21 events in London, Brighton, Manchester, Leeds and Bristol including talks from Clara Amfo, Monki, Manon Grandjean, Marta Salogni, Flava D, Nabihah Iqbal and more. The project was recognised for it’s impact and many attendees have since gone on to have sustained careers including Jyoty, Sherelle, Jaguar, Violet Skies, Remi Burgz and Lleo.
