Weird Jungle was a collective of mastering engineers, based across the UK and ran from 2022-2026. Created to bring engineers together, the three mastering engineers - Katie Tavini, Stephen Kerrison and Izzy McPhee - worked individually but were supported centrally by myself and my wife Carla.
Whilst Carla was in charge of the day-to-day operations like bookings admin and diary management, I delivered strategies for the engineers personal well-being and professional growth. We built relationships with universities, colleges and music technology brands to spread awareness of the collective, the engineers and the wider world of mastering.
